Facebook Apps Addiction
The internet has brought me quite a few addictions. Since the birth of social networking, I have been an avid fan already. I find the internet the best possible way to kill time during days of boredom. But at the same time, it has introduced me to new applications, websites and games that use my time even when I don’t have time to waste. I have to admit that it is hard to resist playing games or reading blogs for a couple of minutes even if I have a deadline to meet. Now, the latest addiction I have because of the internet is the applications in Facebook.
Facebook is a social networking site where you can add some friend and share some pictures or notes. It pretty much works just like Friendster with a twist. Facebook have applications that are interactive games, quizzes etc. wherein one can play. At first, I really did not pay much attention to these applications and just chose to ignore them. As months pass by, increasing number of my friends are starting to use all sorts of application. The curiosity and temptation did get the better of me because finally decided to try the application. I have proved the testimony of my friends that is indeed addicting. I have tried a handful of applications such as Mafia Wars, Fashion Wars, Vampire Wars, Mousehunt, Restaurant City, Yoville, Pet Society and a lot more. These games are simple but somehow never fail to tempt a Facebooker to try them. At the end of the day, I realize that I should be able to control my addiction and now I promise myself not to indulge myself in such unless I am free and bored.
